Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Northern Screens UK, all our products are made to order with care and attention to detail. This means each item is manufactured specifically for your order before it is dispatched. We aim to keep lead times as efficient as possible while maintaining the quality, finish, and standard of every piece.
Production Times
Please allow 7-14 business days for production before dispatch. While this is our standard production window, we always aim to complete orders as promptly as possible while maintaining our standards of quality.
Delivery Times
Once dispatched, orders are typically delivered within 5-8 business days.
Estimated Overall Lead Time
From the date of order, customers should allow approximately 7-21 business days for delivery overall. This estimated timeframe includes both the time required to manufacture the item and the delivery time once the order has been dispatched.
Shipping Destination
We currently ship and deliver within the United Kingdom only.
Delivery Service
We carefully select a suitable delivery service depending on the size, type, and nature of the order. For that reason, the courier or delivery method used may vary from order to order. Where tracking is available, tracking details will be sent to the email address provided at checkout once your order has been dispatched.
Pre-Aged Rust Finish
If you select a pre-aged rust finish upgrade, additional preparation time may occasionally be required as part of the finishing process. Where applicable, lead times may be slightly longer than for standard finishes.
Bespoke & Custom Orders
Bespoke, custom-made, or made-to-measure orders may require longer lead times than standard website products. If an order requires additional design work, approvals, or non-standard specifications, we will advise you where possible if additional time is needed.
Delays
While we always aim to meet our stated timeframes, delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances outside our control, including courier issues, supplier delays, or high order volumes. If there is a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.
Delivery Inspection
Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery. If there is an issue with the item supplied or if your order arrives damaged, you must contact us within 5 days of delivery at leon@northernscreensuk.co.uk, including your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs. We will always aim to review and resolve any genuine issues promptly and fairly.
Safe Handling & Unpacking
Please unpack your order carefully and in a suitable space, taking appropriate care when handling large or heavy items. Some products may have edges or corners that require careful handling, so we recommend using appropriate caution during unpacking and moving. We recommend checking the product as soon as possible after delivery and keeping all original packaging until you are satisfied that the order has arrived safely and as expected.
Where an issue is reported, items may need to be returned in their original packaging, or in equally suitable protective packaging, to avoid damage in transit. If packaging is discarded before the order has been fully inspected, this may affect our ability to assess or resolve a claim.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that appropriate care is taken when unpacking, lifting, moving, and storing delivered items prior to installation.
